Event Wormbreath
Notes from the field:
Respectfully submitted to the Council Hari Mata, Special Operative to the Council Subject; Surveillance of Oba’s minion: Wormbreath Your loyal agent after hearing rumors of an altercation last night in Fairhaven involving the infamous Worm breath made their way to his vile stinking cave. I watched him from a corner, The Worm was very agitated and was walking in circles ranting and raving about getting even with Generals Sanantia and Deamla. Between his shouting and cursing he was writing a message of some kind on a dirty scrap of parchment. Knowing that the council would be interested in whatever the message contained I contrived to lay bottles of Zorai Ale some meters from each other leading away from the lair of The Worm. Luckily for me that I had a good number of them in my pack. Wormy, the poor fool did exactly as planned when he noticed them, he drank the first one then the next and the next till he was very far from his cave, I saw he was a bit unsteady on his feet and figured I was safe to enter the stinking cavern. I quickly read the message and committed it to memory; the following is Wormbreath’s message to Oba; Massster, As you instructed me, I placed that Tryker girl Rikka under an enchantment that rooted her to the ground near the Stables in Fairhaven. Unfortunately for my plans, that do-gooder General Sanantia was nearby, not fearing a mere female I went ahead and cast my spell upon the Tryker wench. Then proceeded to demand that the gathered puny Homins find me that piece of Amber you want so badly Massster. We really need to do something about this Sanantia Massster, as she immediately took charge of the gathering, she also had the audacity to call in 2 other Guides, Cymrys, who accompanied Sanantia on the quest for the Amber piece and Pogli, who stayed behind and guarded Rikka. I crept along with the crowd of Homins and discovered that Sanantia had contact with the Seer, who told of a piece hidden in Loria’s Research Post, Dagger served as Pathfinder (he is another to watch Massster, he knows to much for his own good), before long they reached the Post and quickly found the Amber. I ran ahead of them and attempted to block them from using the portal, thinking I could steal the Amber from Sanantia, like I did with the foolish Blackwater Pirates but I could not fool her into giving it to me then, for some reason they wanted Rikka released from her enchantment. I made haste back to Fairhaven and arrived just before Sanantia arrived. Now Massster comes a part I have much trouble telling you about, you will be mad at me. Please don’t hurt me, I am in much pain already. That nasty Sanantia, when I went to snatch the Amber away from her, told me to come “Closer”, she is tricksie Massster, so I backed away, she had something in her hand she wanted to show me, she said. She kept coming toward ma and I backed away from her even more. OH, Massster, the Pain the Pain, it Burns, it BURNS me so bad!!!!! Oh the Hominanity, Sanantia had backed me into……. The water at Fairhaven!!!!!! I can see my skin now!!! It scares me to see it. My cute little pet Cuttlers are snapping at me now because they don’t know me now that my scent is gone, Oh, Oh, Oh what is poor Wormy to do. We must put a stop to Sanantia and her friend General Deamla soon Massster. I have a plan Massster, We can get the Twins to make……………. Hummmm, what’s this a bottle of Zorai Ale at my cave entrance?? I will finish this message right after I investigate this Massster. This, members of the Council ends my report, please warn Sanantia and Deamla that something is afoot with Oba and The Worm, unfortunately whatever plan Wormbreath has was not written yet in the message when I got to it. Rest assured that I and my band of agents will continue our observation of this most distasteful creature. « Back |
