The epic invasion of Kitin, which had held all of Atys in its grip for so many days past, was finally over. The Kitins had been driven back into their lair and victory belonged to all Hominkind. It was time to take stock and celebrate our freedom.

Sxarlet of the Evolution Guild knew just what was needed to take her fellow Homins’ minds off the horrors they had endured. She organized a Beach Party at Avendale in Tryker. Word soon spread and scores of Homins, weary and disheveled, began to arrive on the beach. Some had traveled in large parties from the battlefields across Atys. Others arrived alone, eager for companionship and respite. What a sight greeted them!

Caprini steaks sizzled on the fire, the music was loud, Firewine flowed freely, and Homins cast off their blood-stained armour, and took to the crystal clear waters around Avendale.

Refreshed and replete it was time for the games to begin! Teams formed to play Yubo Beach ball. The crowds cheered as the Yubo was blasted up and down the beach and between the goalposts using the spells taunt and fear. There followed a raw materials hunt which saw countless Homins scattering across the dunes to the water's edge and in amongst the trees in search of the full complement of materials.

As evening drew in and the sun began to set behind the mountains, Homins took their places by the fireside once again. Many songs were sung honoring those who fell in battle. It was a time of reflection, but also a time for all four races to come together in peace and harmony.

Finally, Miss and Mr. Atys Beach Party were announced and crowned. Miss Atys Beach, the lovely Afodites, wore a ravishing red bikini and sarong ensemble. Mr. Atys Beach, the handsome Xel, wore simple, yet aerodynamic bathing shorts. Such a good time was had by all, that many an Homin slept on Avendale beach that night!
