After a long and convoluted search for clues, ranging from the Arid Matis to the Sap Slaves tribes; the Negotiator was finally apprehended by a brave band of Homins at Stalia Stronghold and tricked into teleporting to Yrkanis, where he was taken off for investigation.

From information garnered, it appeared that the Negotiator was working with the tribe called the Ancient Dryads, and the loyal Matis were asked to overcome this tribe in an attempt to recover the Goo Crystal.

This was done, but unfortunately a thorough search revealed some of the ransom materials but neither the goo crystal or the Gibbakin jewels.

Shortly thereafter the Negotiator escaped his gaolers and made for the Abyss portal to where he was rapidly followed.

Unfortunately the Homins arrived to find that they were too late, the Negotiator, whose name appeared to be Stachini, was killed in front of their very eyes by Muang Hoi-Gi, using some form of goo poison. Muang was heard to say "Never mind, Stachini, you were just too greedy"

It is clear that there is still more to these events than has yet been unearthed and Muang is now urgently wanted for questioning in Yrkanis….
