Our dear Cybille was lost! Part II

The second and final part of what became of our dear Cybille.

I walked further into the cave and heard what I thought was sobbing. I called for my Cybille in what I assumed was in vein. A fell back stunned, filled relief and complete jubilation. In a faint voice my tough little Tryker had called out from a steep cliff inside the cave.

I scooped her up and carried her to a mount I borrowed from Iverem. I slung her over the front of my saddle and rode gently back to Fairhaven. I sent word for all our Aeden Artisan brothers and sisters to greet their fair Cybille.

We took her inside the guild hall and made a bed for her in the council chambers. Our great and fair leader, Pero, gave orders for her to not be disturbed by anyone, which included me. He also gave orders for her to be taken any food and drink she asked for. All she wanted was a nice, warm glass of Matis slaveni tea (I will never know how she can drink that muck!) and 3 blankets.

After a long 16 hour slumber, Cybille awoke and came down to the main hall. The hall was decorated even more lavishly then it was a few nights before for our wedding reception.

Our dear friend Pipp had made the long nights journey to Min-Cho with her packers. She returned with as much Zorai ale as they could hold on their now aching backs.

I am so glad to have my bride beside me again. The last few nights she has woke up screaming. The visions of those horrible torbak fangs drawing so close to her as she climbed for her in that cave will forever haunt her. I truly feel ashamed that I left her in that dark, damp cave for that long. She holds no grudges towards me or any others. She knows we sought after her until it was too dark too see and that we returned right at day break.

I ask that all her friends stop by our apartment when I am off on travels and keep her company for the next few months. I would like to not see her alone for a while.

Well, I love my dear Cybille and I am glad to see she was not deleted from this great world of ours. Atys is blessed to have Jena deliver her back to us!
