From which pen&paper or computer-roleplayinggame are the roleplaying-rules derived? (closed)

Hi,

there are many old roleplaying-games (pen&paper).

Everyone knows D&D. RuneQuest was popular once. There is the simplistic warhammer rpg. And so much more.
And there are computer-rpgs, although much later, of which some have a distinct rule system (like Elder Scrolls Series, or the Ultima Series).

Is there a system, on which ryzom is based, partially or completely?

Can i safely assume most of the rules (combat, skilluse, attributes, etc.) are located in the "sabrina" subsystem? Or are there other, equally important subsystems?

Regards,
Ragnar G.D.

Sabrina system is original and not used by other games.

But Ryzom bible has been written by Multisim, a french pen & paper RPG editor which created Dark Earth (also adapted to PC game), Nephilim and Rêve de Dragon (and some others :p).

Is multisim still in contact with anyone in the team, either ryzom, or ryzom core?

At least one of the people that worked on Dark Earth can be found somewhere on the forum of that website (french only):

As it's an indirect info, i can't say which one.
But asking on that forum should give a result.
