Build Failed - Ubuntu 10.04 amd_64

Added by webshinra about 5 years ago

Hi All.
I have some problems compiling Ryzom.
i'm using Ubuntu 64 and i think it's the problem origin ( I can be the origin too )
i correctly add -m32 to the compilation flag, but i have the "/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible ../server_share/libserver_share.a when searching for -lserver_share" message (and many more of the same type) i can't figure how i can go through it.
i hope you can help me.

ps:sorry for my bad English.

I initially got an error on Ubuntu 10.04 when I used the -m32 flag ... I removed the flag and the build went through okay up until the nel/misc/types_nl.h error that I got.

Try removing the -m32 flag and see if it helps.

at the moment, I can get it to build on a 32 bit chroot, I will try again in a few day into the 64 bits environment.

We simplified/update the process to compile on linux:
