DDS editing and / or conversion?

What are you using to edit/convert dds files? I tried using the dds.exe plugin for The Gimp - no go there...
I get: Bad or unrecognized DDS file header

You will find in code/nel/tools/3d/tga_2_dds
a tool to convert tga to dds.

You can build it (and all other NeL tools) adding WITH_NEL_TOOLS in CMake.

tga2dds also supports .png files :)
