New blood

Hello everyone here on the Ryzom forums I have just joined a few days ago, I've been looking at how to build sources etc, though I have a problem.

I downloaded the windows client and server, I ran the server shard_start.bat file (which opens a load of windows) then after I let them through the firewall I open up client, I press connect 4 times and I get this error all the time: Error: <!doctype html public "-//ietf//dtd html 2.0//en"> <html> <head> <title>403 forbidden</title> </head> <body> <h1> forbidden </h1> <p> you don't have permission to access /login/r2_login.php on this server. </p> </body></html>

my client.ctg has StartupHost = "localhost:40916";

I'm currently not using apache and what not yet.

Ah very good to know:) I've now ran into a new problem, with the world editor. Whenever I try to open it, it looks for world_editor_classes.xml it appears to me that it wasn't included in the download this download: http://dl.kaetemi.be/ryzom/bin/ryzom_tools_win_x86-0.7.0.682.7z is it just me?

You'll have to start at the beginning and follow the guides. All of the level design files are in the source code repository (code/ryzom/common/data_leveldesign.)
