patch error

Been working on getting the patch server up.
Everything seems to work, until the client tries to download the patch.
It starts checking the correct patch file and then giver the following error:
-Checking file ended with errors: curl download failed: (ec 7 0)
I have the file location set up correctly, because I can view the xml file in my browser...
What am I doing wrong?
