Hello,
When you run Ubuntu, thanks to the PPA, it's easy to get the amd64 executable, but for others distros such as Fedora, there is nothing : no link in any documentation, nothing in the download page, nothing on sourceforge, and the manuals are outdated and only mention the Ryzom DVD...
Please add amd64 builds for GNU/Linux.

Using Ubuntu 12.10 Server. Ran all setup steps OK up to squish

Downloaded and extracted source from http://hg.kervala.net/packaging/file/
Extracted it

followed the directions up to cmake ..

I am a noob when it comes to CMAKE and my google is failing me on finding out what to do. Can you point me in the right direction as to what I need to do to compile this?

Ok so after looking at this page numorus of times

I cant fully understand what to do.
It says to get xdelta.exe and the other file which I did but when I open them they close automatically after the open and this also happens when I open Patch_gen.exe

The export processes for max files sometimes fail silently and write corrupt files.
Usually happens when exporting shape and anim files.

Fix it to make it write written files in a temporary directory first, and reading them back for verification, before moving them into the build directory.

Some of the content pipeline tools are not very stable, are very slow, and/or print too much or too little logging information.
Random issues that need to be fixed for the automated build pipeline scripts.

Third party libraries developers are regularly updating their sources to fix bugs and add new functionalities, so we should occasionally update them.

There's a framework to do unit testing in NeL.

But lot of tests can be added to test everything in NeL. You can start with NeL Misc.

Check the framework in the nel\tools\nel_unit_test directory. It requires cpptest to compile.

When removing the #pragma warning on Windows in types_nl.h, it'll generate tons of warning.

All include must be in the same block and in order:
0. stdpch is needed
1. system includes
2. nel includes, sorted by libraries

For example
