You could also edit the image if you wanted as well. You could check the interface files and see. Look at the image name in the config file and lookfor imagename.bmp or tga or png or dds (since there's a lot of extension remapping going on.) Someone else changed the loading screen by finding that the loadign screen was loading_bg.tga (which remapped to loading_bg.dds or something like that.)

Another interesting file is evidently interface.bmp. (=
