DirectX ?

Greetings to the entire community. Maybe i will ask on the silly question, but I never found the answer for it. I'm thinking that I used NeL with my friends for the development of our new project. I wonder one thing: Do NeL supports a newer versions of DirectX (10, 11) or using only old 9? Thank you for your answer. :)
NeL is using DirectX 9, the engine was written between 2000 and 2004.
Naush is testing a way to add shading to the engine.
