Location of character data

Anyone know where things like character skill levels and items are stored i cant find them in the database...

Characters are saved under <save_shard/characters> and guilds under <save_shard/guilds>

pdr_util can convert between bin and xml formats

So then what is the proper way to remove an account, characters and all? Is there any scripts aviable?
