You can create a macro to chat in around /follow and that will set you to follow your current target. Assign a key, or drag to your hands bar.

Done. (bet you can do it in the keys window too by creating a new key. )

Oh! My last post in this thread, I promise. XD

Loading time/character switching:
Either reduce the amount of time it takes to log in (like cutting out the several-seconds-long Nevrax splash screen at the beginning...we already know who made Ryzom :p ), or make it easier to switch between characters without having to exit the game, start it up again, etc.

Right now, logging in/out/relogging just takes way too long. I linkdie after teleporting often, and every time that happens I have to relog completely. During that time I can go and eat dinner or something...

I do keep forgetting to do those things like eat, sleep etc...

Couple of harvesting messages annoyances:

Make "not in this weather" clearer. Sometimes mats seem to exist in fair weather one Atys day, and not on another. Some mats pop halfway through a weather cycle, i.e before it has changed.

Make "not at the moment" clearer. I know night is 2200-0200 but why did I have to figure it out?

When a source is empty in the PR, don't give the message "no raw materials were detected in this area". If you're right on top of it then you get the correct message "...used to be present...", but if that empty source is inside your forage arc then it should give the same one.

Sort out the rounding error on source content - if it says it has 12 mats then I should be able to get 12, not 11.7 :p

Tell us how much time is left before an aura can be used again, e.g. when we click it "you must wait 9m30s".

Let us hide the 'user' tab, I never use it.

Plus everything mentioned before, but mainly the gender problems for emotes/teams/exchanges.

(kinda offtopic, but worth mentioning in this thread) it happens to me quite often too. Apparently, Ryzom sync code seems pretty sensible to ping increase, network latency and jitter. Once you have read the technical faq, allowed ports, disabled antivirus, configured firewalls, upgraded your comp to the latest supreme hardware you can get and done anything that comes to mind and this just happens randomly, you'll notice:

- for "unsuccesful" loadings, the dreaded "the client fills some of the loading squares but stalls there, even at the last square (to the point that you need to kill ryzom-client-rd.exe and start again), your client log will look like this

and it can go on like this for dozens of lines. You'll also notice in the task manager that the memory used by the process is lower that the average usual.

A succesful load will show the following lines after the probes.

For stalls and link downs after teleporting, something worth trying (avoids usual relog most of times) is changing between the windowed mode and full screen mode (just unclick the check box and click it again). It seems that the client resyncs after a config change - may happen as well with far clip settings, I found the former solution more reliable). I used to be forced to relog , this has came handy.

Auto /afk. If you are inactive for 30 minutes, it puts you afk.

I would be so happy if the following 3 things got done. :)

-Player online status in guild window.
-Emotes with correct character gender.
-Fix team map and compass bug.

I agree with all of your ideas, just want to point that you can in fact activate self heals and auras while crafting (Or at least there is a workaround).

Not sure about other things since I don't usually pay attention to my surroundings while crafting. It is true that you can't use the mouse to do so, but you can use the keyboard just fine.
