maybe the new owner is shy? all the flameing they read here would scare off any one who is not used to being told how to run thing...might even be that there afraid to give a finish date on something becuase they know that the hordes of flamers are lighting tourches and looking for them on the exact minute they think that a patch should be complete:confused:

A thread like this should have been locked long ago, it's nothing more than a place for players to rant and the Devs stopped reading it long ago.
Best bet is to start a new thread when we get a new owner, a fresh start is needed.

To be honest many of the bug-fixes/suggested-improvments listed in this thread are good, popular and much desired. While it may seem like the same-old-same-old they still haven't been implemented & are therefore still valid.

I think this thread would be an excellent resource and starting point for any new owner and it's dev team. While "troll fishing" doesn't do anyone any favors a bit of heated discussion acts as a community mood indicator.

A new owner deserves a chance but the community has been too soft in the past, tolerating a long list of poor patches & broken promises which didn't live up to expected standards. I'm surprised people have kept as calm and quiet for as long as they have, especially the old timers.

While we should give them a chance, they should also be considerate of what many of us have had to put up with over the years. It may not sound fair, but life isn't fair and we're running out of patience.

My main message to any potential buyer would be: If you haven't got the money to follow threw, get lost & save us both the misery. :p

why would a new company be worried aout the patiance of players that have stayed on since the beginning? pssst...i think there hooked already.

give them time to get there feet wet or it could end up like the last group that just jumped into the big black river,ya gotta feel your way in or you get swept off into the bankruptsy that ate up the founders and the saviours
shouldnt we just be glad we have a great big weed ball for now for me to master another tree in crafts?
and wait for them to open up new areas for us when there not all bugged out?

After years of lackluster development spanning two ownership transfers, there aren't nearly as many "hooked" players as there used to be... and obviously not enough to pay the bills as their numbers continue to decline. As a company I would definitely worry about that.

"lackluster" isn't the right description of nevrax's development. Nevrax was simply under funded and under maned. Kinda disrespectful to the devs who worked very hard. GF on the other hand could be said to have been "lackluster" in their support imo.
