Type of Roleplay?
 

Hello there, I'm quite new to the game. Infact, I've just signed up and I'm installing the game client at the moment. Now, what I wanted to ask is that is 'Ryzom' an actual fulltime Role-Playing game? I mean, do they have servers? I'm a heavy roleplayer on 'WoW' and I just wanted to know if the Roleplay here is just as serious as 'WoW'.

I imagine that you've now found out then, that there are no roleplaying servers - Ryzom's soon-to-be four servers are divided by language.

The Ryzom community is generally very rp-friendly and casual; most anyone you talk to in character will usually respond in kind. You might like to contact some of the High-RP listed guilds for 'serious' stuff. Have fun :).

You can consider all shards are RP ones :) The community is not like "kikoo lol" people :)

OOC:: Most people are RP-friendly that's for sure but there are very few real Rpers. I can only name 3-4 guilds on Arispottle.

That includes My own Atysian traders Inc. - corporate RP guild.//OOC

How is the roleplay right now on the mainland? Everyone is very nice but I've found none on the island.

There are certain Roleplay guilds: try House Etchmark (Jelathnia, Enon, Kedino, Jeziella) and the Red ribbon Army (Kyerna, Xythus)
