DLink ADSL router? (resolved)
 

Read here and configured port forwarding as was said:

but game still doesn't launch... offers window with install/repair buttons
after reapair (that do nothing) offers to launch after that few seconds and process client_background_downloader_rd.exe disappears in task manager... can't understand what do in logs only messages about successfule finished install :(
no any error messages no anything ever... what else i need to configure for this game or what's the trick here?

Edited: disabled firewall in router - no any effect :(

Oh.... launched some update smth bat that crated lots of files - looks like helps with disabled firewall :)

The update batch file fixed your install, it appears the installer stalled during installation of the game. But on the bright side you shouldn't have any please wait issues that are port related now that your firewall is configured for Ryzom :)
