can't connect(error code 1)
 
I get to the login screen, type in my username and password and hit connect, and that's what i get... "Can't connect(error code 1)" How do I fix it, cause I'd like to try this game...

Greetings,

Error code 1 would indicate that you are using an old installer that points to the wrong servers. Here is a quick fix that may get you started:

In your Ryzom program folder (defaults to 'C:\Program Files\Ryzom'), there is a file named: 'client_default.cfg'. Open this file with Notepad for example and press Ctrl+F to search for the string 'StartupHost', without the quotes. Verify/edit this line to read:

StartupHost = "rslogin.juk.shards.nevrax.com:40916";


If this fails to work for you you will need to download the installer from here.
