How to give your NPCs titles.
Simply put $title$ after their name, where title is one of the available ingame titles. The $ sign will display as a dot ingame, but it should work just fine, as long as you type a $ sign.
Example: "Elite Overlord Kinrey$FBT$" will give your kitin an Elder of Atys title. Code:
gn_apprentice_tracer Apprentice Tracer [EDIT from Marjo: the trick is ok to use ^^] [EDIT from Kaetemi: 'a' before a vowel becomes 'an', i believe ^^] |
Re: How to give your NPCs titles.
That's great Kae! Thanks for the head's up.
A bit of a shame however there's some neat french only titles in there. |

Thanks kaetemi for the info! And thanks Marjo... wouldn't a collection of such "tricks" make a nice addition to the Ring homepage or the documentation section for reference until they are implememented properly as buttons and checkboxes in The Ring *wink wink nudge nudge* ;) |
Re: How to give your NPCs titles.
This is pretty cool! I'll have to try some of these out! Hmm...would be cool to be able to make custom titles too, but having any titles are better than none! :)

There's some pretty neat neverbeforeseen titles in there. Thanks Kaetemi!
I remembered this thread today thinking I should give my NPCs trible titles, like 'Green Seed'. Shame those aren't in there. :( |
Re: How to give your NPCs titles.
Alright call me simple, but I cant find the location to add these titles too. Granted I'm not a coder, so if it is in the file somewhere I'm going to need a bit more information. >.< Awsome find btw.

Re: How to give your NPCs titles.
That's in "Customize NPC" option :)
Edit: "Customize look" apparently :) |
Re: How to give your NPCs titles.

I never had noted this thingy before. (once again, Kae shows that he leveled his ring levels to the max!) |
