Any Prime Roots runs?
 

Hi all,

I've recently re-subbed to the game after about 5 years away and started up a zorai but ported to Pyr because my friends have all started Fyros chars.

I'd like to get over to Zora at some point soom and was hoping that there would be some Prime Roots trips organized maybe?

Just wondering what the deals with these are as, when i used to play, trips were quite regular and I used to join even when i had the tps just for the fun of it. Are there any trips that get organised for nubs like me to take the trip to different areas of Ryzom or do we have to ask ingame or get lucky with a shout in chat?

heh, really old school for sure ;)

Actually, there is a direct portal between fyros and zorai nowadays, so if you know your way a bit around the mobs, you might sneak there yourself without going through the prime roots.

(Easier with some friends, but very good to solo as well...)

no need to go through us anymore, the zorai portal is south east of dyron.

We likely will be doing a Trek tomorrow (Tues), send me a tell in game perhaps incase the time works out (name in sig).

Wait, there's a direct portal now? :) I take it that's to allow easier travel between the pairs of faction-aligned civilisations?

We've been joined by another old guild friend that hasn't played Ryzom before, and she rolled a Tryker - so we're facing a trek between Fairhaven and Pyr fairly soon :) IIRC that's the longest/hardest of the bunch? Anyhow, still good fun if we can get a nice group together :)

Somewhat south of the kara tp in Dyron there's a portal to Knot of Dementia, yes.
You end up in Great Outback.

At the moment the only run requiring a transit through pr is from lakes to jungle, the only one requiring transit of a 250 zone is lakes to forest.

Interesting, and thank you :) Should I be exploring for other new portals in the Fyros lands, or does Pyr -> Fairhaven still require travel via 2 continents?
