Macbook Pro Crash

I downloaded Ryzom from the app store, installed and begun running the game only to find that after creating my character and selecting "play", it would freeze and crash on the loading screen. It also says on the loading screen that Chapter 4 is loading, problem is, I have never played this game before! After uninstalling/re-installing the game, I still suffered from the same problem. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thankyou!

probably really bad suggestion, but I run this game on Linux without problems.

Have exactly the same issue on late MacBook Pro 13 inch core i7. Also found some reports of this problem in AppStore reviews. On windows however, the game runs smoothly. Dear developers, could you comment on that please please pleeeeaasee? =)
