I may be wrong but doesn't it set up a waypoint on your compass that points to where the person is? It will be under the missions section on the right click menu if it does. Failing that, use the NPC finder on

I think you miss the point. Ryzom doesn't spoon feed you locations (or anything else for that matter). You have to explore and find them. Once you have been to a portal/spawn point it displays on the map, not before.

That's what the consider system is for - the coloured square and stars tell you in your target window. Right click it and select help, it will explain what the colours mean. More stars equals tougher mob.
