*The firelight cast upon the writing, Meloner bent down to read. Shaking is head he tore up the scroll and chucked it in the fire before pulling out an old chest made of solid oath bark and enclosing the many writings of his tale within it. On the lid, he wrote :
Here lie the scrolls of an unfinished tale. What time I have left will sadly not allow me to complete it. The end however has already been written for me. It lies within me, you, and all others around us, gathered here, sitting by camp fires, laughing and drinking, all enmity forgotten...All differences forgotten...as we stand together, united, waiting for our common fate.
*After burying the chest, Meloner opened the bag, popped a marshmallow in his mouth and went to join Sherkalyn*
