I think this thread would be an excellent resource and starting point for any new owner and it's dev team. While "troll fishing" doesn't do anyone any favors a bit of heated discussion acts as a community mood indicator.
A new owner deserves a chance but the community has been too soft in the past, tolerating a long list of poor patches & broken promises which didn't live up to expected standards. I'm surprised people have kept as calm and quiet for as long as they have, especially the old timers.
While we should give them a chance, they should also be considerate of what many of us have had to put up with over the years. It may not sound fair, but life isn't fair and we're running out of patience.
My main message to any potential buyer would be: If you haven't got the money to follow threw, get lost & save us both the misery.

why would a new company be worried aout the patiance of players that have stayed on since the beginning? pssst...i think there hooked already.
give them time to get there feet wet or it could end up like the last group that just jumped into the big black river,ya gotta feel your way in or you get swept off into the bankruptsy that ate up the founders and the saviours
shouldnt we just be glad we have a great big weed ball for now for me to master another tree in crafts?
and wait for them to open up new areas for us when there not all bugged out?
