Okay, so after a great deal of swearing and threats of violence Ryzom finally decided to work, joy. Imagine my surprise when I log out to go for a bowl of cereal and come back login fine, yep there's the character selection, there's my character, click play, screen fades to black and several seconds later I'm back on the character selection screen.

Reinstalled, tweaked just about everything tweakable, poked all the configs with a very sharp pointy stick and still no luck, what's the solution?
