I don't even really care about DP anymore. Triple DP while raiding lairs ? Yeah ? So what ? I had fun raiding that thing. Ryzom isn't only about reaching lvl 250. Once you've mastered a couple essential skills, XP doesn't matter as much anymore. The faster you master skills, the faster you get close to that dreaded moment when you don't know what to do to entertain yourself anymore. And to be honest, I enjoyed the hunt parties more than the XP itself. Because teaming with cool people is... FUN !
But once the skill is mastered, it is no longer wanted in a leveling group.
When I get DP, I just buy a breath of Ma-Duk and take a chill pill. I sit down, chat and relax or dig in a land I already mastered because I need the mats anyways.
Yes I'm crazy. But as I used to say, back when I was on Silan, back when the skills were capped at 21 for free trials, when the only skill I could use to burn DP was craft (OMG, the heresy !) : "Burning DP makes me rich !" And I left Silan with 700k dappers, which is more than most newbs coming to mainland.
