Question Missions, Scenerio, and Trigger Help

Ok, I'm having trouble figuring out how to use and use accurately the above. If anyone can help me please post.

P.S.
I'm very interested in the Ring and have 2 scenerios so far, but each time I log on I figure more out and am constatly updating them. One is a guild camp the other a very deep story which hopefully, when finished, will contain missions as well as be completely run by npc's. It will consist of at least 5 acts and I need help, so please help me out.

Thanks

Bit hard to help, you might need to explain what you want to know.

For missions, there are 3 kind of those.
1. tell message to npc X
2. bring me object Y
3. give object Z to player (not sure if I got this one right)

With those you can do a lot of missions. The mission starts when the npc is targeted.

Triggers are just a way to trigger the next act or an event.
(When player enters area A then bandit becomes agro, etc)

If you want more help, you might want to give some more specific details what you try to do.

Re: Missions, Scenerio, and Trigger Help

Yeah, I realize I was very vague, but that was basically because I had no clue how to operate those functions. I was just trying to ask what they can really do in general. But I think this clears up quite a bit and I'll be able to do more complex operations now!

Every time I log on to the Ring I learn something new.

Thanks for the help.

How do you even set up a mission in the editor? I can't find the options for it.

Re: Missions, Scenerio, and Trigger Help

On the login screen you can choose Play or Editor. If you select Editor, it'll take you into the screen for choosing your map and to begin.

Triggers can be used for alot of things. On click triggers on people can make someone talk, for example. Area triggers can spawn creatures or make you go to another scene.

If you need any help with triggers, gimme ayell. But I suggest just poking at it til it works cause really that's all I've done.
