JPG images of maps in ring?
Anyplace I can get them? It would be nice to be able to print them out and plan scenarios.

To be able to view them in a small 3d model or something would be great too, to see a relative size, etc.
I have wanted the same. |

I can see about making a flash based moc-up if you want. Shouldn't be to hard. Quote:
Printable versions with a grid also? (Old school PnP DnD squares). |

A grid would be wonderful. Not sure how they expect good ring scenarios if people can't plan out on paper or in a design program first.

Well, im not sure how much work is involved right yet. I need to fire up the editor and see, and i may need others to give me screenshots or other things to my specifications. Because my player is still a NOOB. But the idea i was thinking of was to have the Grid applied to the printable versions of the Black and white images of the maps.... For layout needs ETC. The main interface will allow you to pick a map (zoom in all that) from the game (2D only here). I do however need to figure out the scale of things... this i will need help with. The 3d would most likely take to long, unless I got the source files for the mesh, otherwise its by hand modeling...and I think there is something like 200 terrains.... O.O. So I think it may be out of scope for the first draft. Not to mention…. I would have to use something other than flash for the 3d part (its possible…but that’s a TON of work). Anyway, rough thinking from the needs posted. Ill have to think more then ill ask for help in aquiring map shots. |
