the ring....wasnt that a horror movie somewhere?
sorry to be an ass but honestly...ever since the ring introduction the servers been acting up, down time, errors, servers down...i cant play anymore cuz of this or that problem with the servers....nobody asked for the ring, theres a lot of balancing issues in the game, lots of unfinished rite quests, yet the devs in their infinte wisdom...give us...the ring...some fancy useless gadget that nobody asked for, and it makes the game unplayable for the rest of us. I consider myself a Ryzom fan, honestly i love this game despite its unfinished state, im addicted to it but ever since the STUPID ring im hardly able to play it anymore. If that goes on like that i'll just have to find another game....to hell with the stupid ring, give us ryzom back

Ring only compounded the uptime issues somewhat. It began with Silan.
The Ring is a wonderful thing. If it wasn't asked for, that is only because no one thought to ask for something that had never been done before in the MMORPG world. I understand your frustration with the recent problems, but please do not denounce the product of the long, hard work of developers.

And one major feature of the ring is to have a lot of publicity.
Ryzom need more customers and to catch them Nevrax needs media people to talk about Ryzom. |

I've not noticed any particular downtime problems, I do admit that they need to sort a few memory issues out when you leave a ring scenario, but the game itself seems as stable as it has been in the past. Of course, there were some long uptimes just before Silan, but things seems about the same as this time last year to me |

Yeah i admit, i did exagerate....maybe more than juuuuust a little but i was frustrated, my play time is limited and i been having problems almost on a daily basis since the ring introduction. Just had to fuss yesterday is all :P so please ignore my post. Even though im not interested in the ring atm (still have a lot to discover and see in the main game) i do hope it helps bring new players to Ryzom. Still a mistery for me why this game isnt more popular, its better than most the games out there, but thats another story. |

To me it's not a mystery, with all the other MMORPG's out there, namely one... World Of Warcraft, its hard to quit them and try something new. Unless of course that game were to crumble... but thats just my opinion... |

Think of it as a 'Pause button' being implemented. |
