I had this problem a while ago and I thought I fixed it by changing some settings in the ryzom configuration tool but after the patch, my problem has come back. I constantly seem to crash with a bug report like this:

Access Violation exception generated at 0xA3E3E5, thread attempts to read at 0x413B8208.
The thread attempted to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.

This problem has seem to have increased and any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm getting that too and it locks up my computer to the point where I have to hard boot it. I'm sure that's not helping my computer any...

Since the last patch (lag issue is solved since then, thank heavens) I get more or less exactly the same msg as the original poster - mostly when I am doing crafting or muddle around between bag and packers (but not exclusively)

Any hints what's this about would be greatly appreciated.

Did you abble to log in now?
If yes how you solve this?
I contacted tech sup. but answer was joke.
I started to fed up with this game.
They have issue with ATI card and wont accept it.

I have had the same problem scince Oct 1st when I bought the game.
I sent about 8 different reports to the tech support e-mail, recieved prompt and friendly replies each time. Problem is no solution. After sending a dxdiag report to them the said I had 9.0b when 9.0c was out. So I downloaded c.
Still have the same problem. I m running a Nvidia card . They may have ati issues but that not the root of my problem

sent an email and got the hint that the ryzom config should be set to OpenGL instead of auto.

did so but nothing changed.

PS - These are my specs:

Well, I think I fixed my issue <cross fingers> I ran a scan disk then I defraged my hard drive. Then I upgraded to DirectX 9c. Hope this helps.

ayne31 Join Date: Sep 2004 Posts: 568	Re: Crash to Bug Report: HELP Since the last patch (lag issue is solved since then, thank heavens) I get more or less exactly the same msg as the original poster - mostly when I am doing crafting or muddle around between bag and packers (but not exclusively) Any hints what's this about would be greatly appreciated.

I contacted tech sup. but answer was joke. I started to fed up with this game. They have issue with ATI card and wont accept it.

I sent about 8 different reports to the tech support e-mail, recieved prompt and friendly replies each time. Problem is no solution. After sending a dxdiag report to them the said I had 9.0b when 9.0c was out. So I downloaded c. Still have the same problem. I m running a Nvidia card . They may have ati issues but that not the root of my problem
