The abbreviations are fine, I'm not sure there's any real standard (although when talking about international timezones, there's often an A in there (EAST or AEST) to distinguish it from EST in the USA. I was just pointing out that one state in Australia doesn't go to daylight saving time in summer. But I guess anyone actually living here already knows that. |

The world clock is another fine cite.
They even have a meeting planner or the fixed time form can be used as follows: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=10&day=15&year=2005&hour=0&mi n=0&sec=0&p1=0 to show word times for a specific time |
