Can't log into the ATS/Ring

I resubscribed last night, paid for the subscription. Created a charater, went to the mainland.

Then when I tried to log onto to ATS it wouldn't let me. It said I didn't have access.

Is this a known issue that is being worked on?

Did you make a seperate install and use the other notes to get to the new Ring server ? There are notes somewhere on how to do your R2 install.

Made a copy of my fully patched Ryzom folder. Downloaded the zipped client.cfg file and pasted that in the new copy of the Ryzom folder. Then opened the client_ryzom_rd.exe file. When I tried to log on, I got the error message "Error: error 1 : invalid user".

I have a paid account which I am posting with. Why am I getting the error message?

There was a similar issue during the alpha with some people as I recall. We had to contact a certain individual, Seido, although I do not know if you need to go through him now during the beta to get things squared away. Perhaps the other CSR can add you now?

When you resubscribe it will take a while for payment to be captured. Access will only be granted after your payment is processed and the processing time depends on your method of payment. So keep checking if you have access.

Error code 1 generally means no connection to the login server. Here are some things you can check:

- check firewall settings and ensure the game ports are allowed through
- can also happen when there are network problems along the path, so check local network and try doing a ping plot or tracert to 213.208.119.220

I got an hardware firewall and i can play Ryzom without problems!
And I can ping 213.208.119.220 with response !

For those of you with an active supscription and who still cannot access the ATS server with the Ryzom Ring, please log into our chat support Klients and we will try to help you.

Just to make it clear, you need an active subscription to be granted access. Accounts that have been unsubscribed and still have access to the live server while their subscription runs out, will not have access to the ATS server
