Failure to Connect!

After i enter account information and it patches and continues on to load, before character selection screen i get hung at a screen that reads Connecting.... and it doesn't go to any screen from there. Please Help.

make sure your outgoing connections are not blocked by firewall and if possible remove router from the loop to rule it out as possible problem.

i have removed router and disabled firewall and still nothing.

check log.log file in Ryzom directory. it should contain line like "Connecting to 'lea1.ryzom.com:47853' with cookie ...." and if it follows bunch of 'sent LOGIN cookie=....' lines, then lea1.ryzom.com (or whatever you have there) is unreachable.
