THE Mozzarella Foundation will release another new version of its Firefox Web browser to cover a hole found last week.

Firefox 1.0.7 should be ready for download soon after a private security researcher posted a proof-of-concept demonstration of a buffer overflow flaw.

The Mozilla Foundation has already issued a temporary patch and workaround for the bug, which was rated as "highly critical".
