Why I made it:
My ISP gives me random subnetmasks, which results in windows networking not working correctly. Windows' own TCP/IP configuration tool doesn't want to set up extra static IP's when DHCP is activated, so I made this tool to have an easy way to configure a secondary ip for a local network.
Requirements:
- Windows XP (Older/Newer versions are not tested)
- .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2
Problems:
The system needs to be restarted to get the new ips running on the network interface, cause I haven't found a way yet to programatically disable and enable the network interface. (Windows needs to be rebooted anyway if you want windows networking to work correctly, so it's not a real problem anyway)
