Any Thoughts on dual Licensing?

First off congrats on the FOSS MMORPG.
While Copyleft is a very nice secure way to make sure the code stays in the community there are several problems with this in a mmo. In SL OSS clients have wrecked havok throughout the grid. And OSS clients have also helped patch holes. But i do for see issues with a mmo and trying to develop a mature game with it.
Do you have any plans for any sort of dual licensing?

No we don't have a plan for dual licensing for the moment.
Since the client is freesoftware, it's no problem to include the patch and fixes, no need for dual licensing.
If one day, a big company wants to give us 3 millions dollars for a close license, we'll see :)

I think the real problem here would be an issue of security. If I am running a server for profit, I would not want someone to download my code and use hacks on my server. Not to say I would not want to send in my bug fixes and new features I am working on, but it make it easy. Although, I have not looked into what kind of anti-mod/hacking is in this game already. Any thoughts?

honestly, all mmorpg are hacked, even if they are closed source. People didn't wait the release of the sourcecode to hack ryzom. Thinking that security by obscurity is working is wrong.
