What are steps to convert character with animation for ryzom engine format and replace current characters

Long time ago I worked on my own MMORPG (suspended in 2005 because of lack of working engine).

I created 6 character races at the time with all needed animations, few set of armor and a lot of weapons.

I have 3D max models of characters, blender and OGRE animations for all character.

Questons:

1. How I can export models and animation to standard of Ryzom game engine (and what animation standard is used by engine)

2. How I can replaced main 4 races with my character and animations.

I don't have character body/face customization so I would have to set all customization option to 1.

If you could tell me how to set up customization to 1 available option it would help

3. Is this possible to add 2 more races to the game?

If yes how it can be done.

I don't know about 1 and 2, but 3 should be easy. To make a new race you would clone all files for an existing race, changing the names both on the files and in the code. Then you would only need to edit the race selection screen to have a new button for each race.

I'd recommend taking a look at how the Ryzom character models are organized, and remoddeling your meshes towards that structure.
It would probably be easiest to remodel your armors on top of the Ryzom base meshes, and bring them ingame like that.
The different races are actually the same body shape, with just a different face mesh.
