There were no modifications to the Ryzom or NeL code involved...
And sorry, currently there are no binaries for Mac, but you can build NeL and Ryzom as described here BuildForMacCmake.

I just used a SMART board from http://smarttech.com/ which provides drivers for Mac, Windows and GNU/Linux.
So you basically just control the mouse cursor using the touch screen. (Right click is a predefined multitouch gesture).

But, currently I think those DViT based touch surfaces suck with respect to response time, update rate and precision.
(Models with more than 2 cameras might work better though)
