when you setup CMAKE, where did you tell it to build the binaries?

I doubt that is it, but since I cannot see our system to know what everything is set at I can't tell. It looks as though you are using a different folder than most of the people who have built the app before though so maybe we are telling you to look somewhere that the code isn't going to be...

Yes, i've joined the irc channel on gameforge but its empty and i couldnt find any other.
Firstly i was using cmake to send it directly to c:/rizom.
And i was compiling in debug mode so it was sending all the files into the debug folder instead of publish.

I ended up finding the rizom exe but it was saying that wasnt found, so im guessing that there is some sort of install .exe im supposed to run before i run the client exe?

Do i have to have the server running to run the client?

I guess that I am clueless as to what you are exactly trying to do? Are you just trying to run the client? If so you will need to grab another file download that has all of the standard files in it. There is already a pre-compiled set however that you can find by searching for Windows Binaries.

If you are trying to run the server, all of those sources should then be in your c:\rizom\ folder under a debug folder since you stated that you compiled in debug.

Other than that, someone with more knowledge and understanding will need to take a swing at this.

I'm just trying to get the client running, I'm not worried about the server yet unless its needed to run "newbieland".
I just want to get newbieland to run from source so i can see how the enviroment works.
