Nel 3DS Max Plugin
Added by ragnar-gd over 2 years ago
Hi,
we have 3DS Max 2012 in a Student Edition (within the "Entertainment Creation Suite" - Students can have it all...).
Legal, of course, my son ordered it with help of his school.
I can see that the plugins are always marked as "32bit".
Does that mean i can use only the 32-Bit Version of 3DS Max? Would be a pity... :)

Hi,
No, you can compile them yourself in 64 bits too :p

Hi, kaetemi, kervala,
VC++ 2010 is already standard with you?
Or are you still mostly using 2008?
Just asking, as i have to decide now... all my PCs and my server have been reinstalled (XP --> W764bit/WHS2011), i have to build up ryzom core again from ground zero...

Yes, I'm currently using VC++ 2010 and Ryzom Core compilation is working well with it.
If you want to compile 64 bits plugins (and test them by the same occasion), you can follow this tutorial including optional 64 bits stuff :
