Thanks for the report! It'll help other people with the same error

I Have the same problem but can't solve it by updating it seems.
I have even done the ryzom_updater to be sure to get the latest version.
I got :

OK.
I have found a way to get through :
I have typed :
sudo chmod a-r /usr/lib32/libpulse{-simple.so.0.0.2,.so.0.8.0,common-0.9.15.so}
and the client goes on now, until it crashe just after the character selection.
And I have also a problem with sound it seems, as I got this message in my console :
AL lib: oss.c:173: Could not open /dev/dsp: Device or resource busy

I am continuing to struggle ...
