Problem with Ryzom on debian squeeze
Added by celdrion over 4 years ago
Hi everyone.
I've heard about Ryzom a few days ago and I would really like to try it out.
I am using debian squeeze and I've downloaded the linux client and after I did an update I tried to run the game,
but I only get "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (segmentation fault), without any other information.
I added the log.log file out of my ryzom folder to this post, I hope this helps.
Anyways, I would be glad if someone could help me with this.

It seems like you have a buffer overflow :( There are too many X extensions and the length of line is exceeding 256 characters.
We need to fix that.
Thanks for reporting :)

I checked that and it didn't change anything so it must be another thing :(
