ryzom_client won't start (Ubuntu 10.10)

Hey all! I was having some trouble getting the ryzom client to run on linux for me.
When i try to execute the binary through terminal no screen of any sort pops up spits this back at me:

You built the client from source.
But did you build the drivers and did you download the data and config files ?

Actually i found the issue to be the thread waiting due to something called KCL_GlobalKernelScheduler which from my research, seems to be an issue with the Linux ATI drivers.
All is well after installing on my windows machine instead, thank you!
