Windows client crash connecting compiled shard

Hi,

I compiled a shard with a full help from Molator and kervala for client.
Now I have a stable running shard open on LAN.
Shard made from mercurial repo.

I am trying to connect to this shard through a windows client.
I downloaded windows client from :
http://freefr.dl.sourceforge.net/project/ryzom/0.8.0/client_win_x86_stlport-0.8.0.1785.7z

I modified client_default.cfg file to match my local ip.

  • Client launch correctly
  • When I log in there is an error about missing xml files

so I put the file from the shard code/ryzom/common/data_common/*.xml in data/data_common/ client side
Error disappear

  • I reach character creation.
  • I create one, and clic play
  • At the end of the loading the client enconter an error and windows close it.

I recompiled the shard.
Export again the xml files.
Now it works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's amazing !!
