Flunker is a web application that displays the content of your guild hall(s) or apartement(s). The content is distributed between thematic rooms. Each room offers its own filters and sorts depending on what it contains. The purpose is to quickly find the items you need. And for comparing two items, it is possible to display their detailed form.
    Uses PHP, JQuery, Ajax.

The first version is out, it does not offer all the features (some filters and some sorts are missing), it can have some bugs and some information are missing.

The web site has been validated with IE 7, IE 8, Firefox 3.0/3.5, and Chrome (SW Iron) but it does not work well with Opera 9...

suggestions:
  • timebomb encrypted key

it really does not matter if you give out plain text guild key or encrypted version if the tool gives access to the very information key is protecting (like inventory)

I do not display all information and I do not like the idea of a timebomb encrypted key because you have to re-make your link often.
Maybe another possibility would be to allow the guild master to create an account giving access to the guild hall(s). And this way he would not have to give the api key and he could easily change the password to protect the access - only when he needs it.

Hello,

New alpha version (V0.2) available, it does not offer all the features yet, however the wardrobe, the jeweller's and the material bazaar are more useful.
The access links are still the same.

Changes

  • Search page layout has changed for a better use of the available space
  • New filters available (see below)
  • You can add sorter from a list
  • You can choose if you want to apply the descendant or ascendant sort (only for numeric sorts)
  • New sorters available (using all the existing item characteristics)
  • You can use a textual search for searching in item description
  • The forms have a new decoration
  • Works better with Opera 9 but this is not usable yet

New filters:

For each room : filter by guild hall
For jewel : filter by main buffer type
For armor : filter by main buffer type, filter by skin
For material : filter by origin (harvest or hunting), filter by purpose (counterweight, armor clip, .... )

Version tested with:

  • IE 7 et IE 8
  • Firefox 3.0 et 3.5.2
  • Chrome (SW Iron)
  • Opera 9 (buggy)

Coming soon:

  • New Sorters and Filters
  • Compatibility with Opera
  • More complete tooltip for items (when you display icons)
  • Flunker will also be able to parse apartement data (maybe)
