character model guide?

ok, i an more intesting in this, i would like to make collada models for ryzom 3ds max. i have made some models, but the characters models in still have a problem with. i would like to see a tutorial on how to create a character model with the right textures. i will show what i have:

ah thank you. i am sure its enough for me to start work. i just download the youtube about darwin 2 and their alien lifeforms.
