No Sound in Ryzom

I am not getting any sound in Ryzom. My sound works in other applications, such as media players and games like SuperTux 2. In my log.log file I am seeing th following lines:

But I'm not sure how to proceed. I have openal and alsa (and alsa-oss) installed. I've attached my full log.log file just incase.

I'd really appreciate any help anyone could provide me.

Okay.. so I seem to have figured it out;

I installed PulseAudio and started the deamon and the sound works great in the game.

I didnt realize that Ryzom used PusleAudio and I was just making a wild stab in the dark, and I hit something!
I hope this little bit of info will help someone out in the future.
