Re: Ring : 'Bandits!' as a Scenario Example
This has so much potential. It's like making and DM'ing your own Neverwinter Nights Module running inside a MMORPG (Yes, a MMOG with actual RP in it). Not just the usual hackfest, but a DM can spawn new encounters (?) or withhold hostile bandits and base the outcome on the roleplayed interaction not on level/gear.
There is a limit to how many NPC's you can have in each 'Act' but how many PC's are possible? Love it! |

It looks very interesting. I will definitely look forward to playing around with this tool.
I have this idea for a Tryker theatre, 'The House of Waterborne Dreams', a purely rp/entertainment affair. Auditions for parts opening soon. Storywriters wanted. |

Re: Ring : 'Bandits!' as a Scenario Example
This nows looks as though R2 might be as flexible as I was hoping it would. We have yet to see just what the limitations are, of course, in terms of character numbers, landscape size and scripting powers, but I think it's time now to start planning a scenario

Re: Ring : 'Bandits!' as a Scenario Example
I like this!
I am not too happy with PvP, then they promise us this. Now we can take the game to any place we want. I like Ryzom a lot and when R2 gets here I will be even happier. |
