Patch Tomorrow, Dec 1st 2005

Nevrax will be applying a small ep2-related hotfix tomorrow morning:

rewards. As a result, the shards will be closed from 10am to 12am (Paris
time, GMT+1).

This patch will allow you to move the no drop items from your bag to
your mektoubs and your apartment, and vice versa. In the meanwhile, the
cost of rewards shields and pants will be multiplied by 5, and the pick
cost multiplied by 3. Thus, a q250 shield costing 1400 honor points
would then cost 7000 points.

So, you have until tomorrow 10am (GMT+1) to get these reward at a cheap
price!

your choice to destoy it itsmagic, there's always the option of just keeping it in your bag as i did, i know what i'm gonna do tonight

i'm buying 5 of those shields at least.

Btw, moving those items from your bag to your packers and apartment, does that also enable us to trade them amongst eachother? (thinking about the carers here, they earned some reward me thinks)

Will items that we buy tonight be moveable or just post-patch? Wouldn't want to fill my bag with cheap loot and have to destroy it.

I don't understand why the rewards are having their value increased.

The point of the skill system in this game is that so you don't have to make decisions you might regret.

Now we are forced to regret having bought many event items and filled our bag.

Now we are forced to regret it if we don't spend all of our points before the patch.

Re: Patch Tomorrow, Dec 1st 2005

Is it just me or is 7000 point for a shield absurd? You have basically made the faction items for the hard-core players only. 7000 points is not easy to get for the casual player. I know a lot of player that did not get 7000 points in the last event. I know we still have today to buy items at the lower price but if faction items are here to stay and keep the high price, they are not worth the effort.

Re: Patch Tomorrow, Dec 1st 2005

I agree that increasing the prices is wrong. I spent almost all of my time in the old lands (which isn't much) caring for my guild diggers. As such, I only earned honor points for the snatches of time when they were emptying their mats and I dug to pass the time. Perhaps that's just my fault for not digging all that time myself, but I think the carers should get some sort of reward too, and if you increase the prices so much I won't be able to afford anything
