Re: New Look

Agreed, the actual forum is too narrow. We like reading space, not art, althought in a kind of surreal frame-floating-in-space kinda look it's nice art (which I am guessing is the intention), but we rather have reading space.

The main page is awesome though, don't mess with that! More text space=better. More text space for Xavier to talk to us with, more text space about news, etc, and I love Jessica's QA article. Good stuff.

Re: New Look

Both mainpage and forums.

Although the mainpage appeared knackered at first, but a refresh sorted it.

Re: New Look

Yeah.. main page looked completely screwey in Firefox. Tho, as mentioned just above, a refresh of the page fixed it.. looks good at full size, haven't tried a smaller view tho.

Re: New Look

Grey font on main page is difficult to read. I find myself squinting too much; it's not easy on the eyes.

To save time I'll only mention the negative points--feel free to slap a big unspoken "otherwise, I like it " to the bottom of my posts as I continue to go through the new site.

The main page is awesome though
Yes, background awesome (which people with 'low resolution' or 'small browser width' dont see) and logo...
But fixed width middle table, with difficult readable text, practically without a divider between news and/in navigation menu .... and what about banners (under server status) in background/logo style?
A little strange style, awesome background with grey (from all design aspects) middle/contents (1st rule - ergonomy, 2nd rule - no horizontal scrollbar, 3rd..).
Just 'first look' impression.
'No-charge-volunteers' job is legal in France? ;)

Though thanks for 'fixing' forums, this was more important.

Re: New Look

I guess I missed the goofed up version jst after the change cause I like it how it is. I'm not so sure about the main page. I really liked the old design. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Found something though.
